THE HAPPY HOOKER!

Last weekend I decided to master crochet once and for all, so I decided to buy this book from Amazon. I've got to say that I am really impressed. It explains everything in detail - I'm sure a child could learn to crochet from this book. There is only one drawback though - it's American and their crochet terms are completely different to ours!
However, for anyone wanting to convert American crochet patterns to British, these is a conversion chart in the book.

Hi Jayne,
Thanks for your comment, I'm glad to have you as my swapper!!
I love fabric, buttons in particular-different shapes etc, shabby chic, ribbons, trims. Is this any help??

What about you, having had a look at your blog I can see you like cupcakes-your background is fab!
Give me some more ideas??

I'm guessing you don't want wool??
I must admit I don't think I've knitted in years, and can't crochet but may give it a go in the future!!

Look forward to hearing from you
Emma :)
